Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026
Relayo collects nothing. No account, no servers, no analytics. Everything happens on your own device and your local network.

What we never collect

We have no servers. Even if we wanted your data, there is nowhere for it to go.

How casting works

Permissions, and why

Screen Recording
(Mac)
Required by macOS to mirror your screen. Read only while you're actively casting, and only to send to the device you picked. Nothing is recorded or saved.
Screen Broadcast
(iPhone, iPad)
iOS mirrors through its own broadcast picker, which you start yourself. The broadcast runs only while you keep it running, and the frames go straight to your TV. Nothing is recorded or saved.
Local Network
Required to find your TV and send data to it. Relayo only talks to devices on your own network.
Files and photos
When you choose a file, the system grants access to that one file. On iPhone you can pick from Photos or Files; Relayo never browses your library on its own.

What Apple collects

The diagnostic log

Nothing here is collected in the background. The log sits on your device doing nothing until you decide to send it.

The contact form

Children
