How it works
Samsung, LG and many other smart TVs support DLNA, an open standard for playing media over your home network. Relayo finds these TVs on your Wi‑Fi by itself and sends your screen, videos or photos straight to them. The same app also works with every Chromecast and Google TV.
Mirror your iPhone in 4 steps
- Turn on the TV and connect to the same Wi‑Fi. Your iPhone and your TV must be on the same network.
- Open Relayo. Your Samsung or LG TV appears in the device list within a few seconds. No account or pairing code needed.
- Tap your TV and choose what to show: a video or photo from your library, a file, or your whole screen.
- Start. For screen mirroring, iPhone asks for confirmation once. After that, your screen appears on the TV.
Good to know
- If your TV doesn't appear, check that it is on (not in standby) and that DLNA, media sharing or screen sharing is enabled in its settings.
- Which file formats play depends on the TV. MP4 videos and JPEG photos work on almost all of them.
- Mirroring runs a few seconds behind — fine for photos, presentations and video, not for gaming.
- Netflix, Disney+ and other streaming services show a black screen when mirrored. That protection comes from iOS, not from Relayo.
- Works on iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
